Biography

IVAN MIHALJEVIC is a greatly talented Artist (guitarist, singer, songwriter) from Croatia.

He is currently working on various projects including a solo project, and he is a full-time member of the historical Croatian hard rock band HARD TIME and the new sensation IVAN MIHALJEVIC & SIDE EFFECTS as well.

Here are some of Ivan's achievements as a solo artist and with Hard Time

Ivan Mihaljević solo project/with Side Effects:

►released the first studio album "Sandcastle" in August 2008 (you can buy it on http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/ivanmihaljevic )

►played as an opening act for Paul Gilbert in Zagreb in October 2008

► played on stage with the inventor of electric guitar Les Paul in Iridium Jazz Club, Times Square, New York City in November 2008
►national TV and radio appearances including live performances and interviews
► worked with John Denner on his solo CD with the likes of Billy Sheehan, Brett Garsed, Phil Hilborne...
►opened for Richie Kotzen in Rijeka in 2009 and in Zagreb in 2010

► released the second album "Destination Unknown" in October 2010 on SG Records with a few very special guests including Brett Garsed and Phil Hilborne

►working as producer for national and international rock bands

► received the 1st prize in the Italian contest Premio Laurentum per la Poesia for the lyrics of the songs from "Destination Unknown"
►Guitar Instructor both online and on stage.

►played the biggest European heavy metal festival Wacken Open Air in 2005 (headlined by Nightwish, Machine Head, Dragonforce, Apocalyptica, Hammerfall and Accept) at age 18
► Mega Muzika Fender Roland Croatian music awards - hard rock album of the year 2006
► recorded live DVD "Hard Time & Friends Live in Boogaloo" in 2006
►recorded a music video for the song "Zombie" which got into the national charts

►played as an opening act for Paul Gilbert in 2007 and as an opening act for Scorpions and The Cult
►toured Germany, Italy, England, Switzerland, Netherlands, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegowina, Serbia through 2007 and 2008
►recorded a live album "Live in Jabuka" in 2008
►currently recording a new studio album
